As a matter of complete coincidence, I just followed Boy George and a male companion down Spring Street to the Bowery. The Ultimate Clown Prince Fashionista of the Eighties was clad in scrubbier clothes than I wear to work, which in some ways calls more attention to him than the full on bleeding-head goth drag he most recently sported (this is Manhattan after all). Or perhaps it's the giant pentagram tattoo which adorns his bald spot that's drawing all those looks? Couldn't be the garish clutch of roses just below it...
Lord...I loves him.

I had an autographed copy too, I sold mine on eBay and got maybe $20 for it.

STALKER!
Thanks for the titilating glimpse of slovenly celebrity!! Get 'em in now, cause once you are in Davis, you won't have many celebs to stalk (apart from those who arrive late at night by limo to the bearsgonewild ranch and spa.....shh....top secret!). One of my favorite (or, as the case may be, one of the most bizarre) New York celebrity sightings was when I was walking on the upper East Side in the early 90's and literally RAN INTO Richard Nixon! His two bodyguards were on either side of him and i reached out to stop us from colliding and touched his shoulder. After a brief moment of confusion and incredulity (on my part) his handlers whisked him away and I found the nearest bathroom to wash the slime off my hands.....oh how I wish I had a camera with me.....July 26 2005, 04:04:49 UTC 6 years ago
